The forecast was that the rain would stop around 6am and stay dry all day,  so I headed out as the rain stopped and shortly after getting this shot the heavens opened and by the time I could land and walk back to cover (2 miles) I was drenched.

We've had a couple of weeks now whe3re the forecasts have not been accurate and just keep changing.

We usually get that in the summer when these things develop rapidly.

With the unstable (hot) weather these storms can develop in no time (at least here in NL).
And they only get picked up by the rain radar when they produce.
So it can go from zero to big rain without a warning then.

That is a really beautiful shot. Well done.
