Like the castle, he's well-maintained. Castle was closed this trip though.

Very cool totem.    The guard does appear to be a bit tired though.

Maybe he is just wore out from counting the number of visitors walking by or the number of cameras being pointed at him.    It is a cool totem.

It's odd how, from a distance he looks as though he's smiling in welcome. But up close he looks very morose.

If you zoom in a bit he does look somewhat gloomy.  Oh well, after all he does reside outdoors in all kinds of weather.

A dog can't help but love his master. If you get affection from a cat, you have earned it somehow.
