Fantastic flying. But, oh dear! Snow already. Doesn't seem long since we were watching you driving your RC truck through the snow, slush and mud. Winter comes round so fast

I was thinking the exact same thing. The yearly cycle is going by faster and faster

If it's any consolation - that was the first AVATA flight over snow that I've seen

You're very welcome.    Flying from indoors is a great plan.  

During my long Navy career they sent me to way too many cold spots so when I retired I started south in the US and kept asking if it snowed there.  When I got to Florida they said it hadn't snowed here, and it was just a few flakes that melted when they hit the ground, in over 25 years.  So I decided that based on weather this was a good spot to retire.  Now I'm accustomed to the only 2 seasons we get, Spring and Summer, and really don't miss the snow.  I still like to see it but not have to shovel it or drive in it.

That would be really nice! But it will not happen for us this year. Since Monday it rains non-stop and that will not be better until the weekend. So no white Christmas.

Looks like I might have jinxed myself as now a super cold frigid front is coming through and even this far south we are looking at exceptionally weird weather.  Was a high of 78F today but dropping to 28F tonight.  Hard to believe the temperature can drop 50 degrees in one day.
