DJI Paladin is there any chance it will be released this year?

The idea of the 360 pano module would be of more interest than the others.

Patents never come out as final products but maybe this could be new modular system for multipurpose handle. Just like Osmo handle.

The insta360 x3 can do that,   it has magic that removes the stand,  it can even remove the pole your holding  with on film.

Not available to order yet,   but the rumours were pointing to a November release.

I like the idea of having a larger sensor and 360 would be interesting as well.  I personally don't have a need for infrared.  

I do like his desired design.

I'm really hoping it comes out late this month or even early next month.  I'm pretty sure I'll buy one as soon as it is released.

Module changeability is an interesting idea that could prove useful for some scenarios. I might be in the minority, but I am somewhat intrigued about the IR camera idea. One of my earlier video cameras had a IR-based nightshot mode and I thought it was a neat idea that could be useful for at least some usage scenarios. Of course, that could very well drive the price up to insane levels. But we'll see.

Yes,  in the samples you can see them getting drone like shots in places that would not usually be possible.

Haha yes. I cut to the 3 minute mark and there it was.   A bit ungainly at full extension I would have thought.

I think with the really nice Black Friday sales on the OA2 and the Mini 2 it might signal end of life for those 2 products.  I mean DJI has to already be in development on the Mini 4.

thanks HGDC84,   the only downside is they are a full sun kinda of camera,  but that does mean that at noon when the light is terrible for normal photography you can always shoot something.

Probably, but a bit too far in the future for my mind.  I'm just wanting to see what else DJI can dream up and develop for the Mini 4.
