Kanowna is the site of a former ghost town, 20 kilometers NE of Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. It was built after the discovery of gold in 1893 and by 1899 had a population of 12,500 but was abandoned by 1953. There were 16 hotels, two breweries, and an hourly train service to Kalgoorlie.
It was originally called "White Feather" (no idea why) but later changed to Kanowna, transliterated from 'gha-na-na' meaning 'place of no sleep' in the local Wangkathaa Aboriginal language
Now there is nothing left except flattened areas of ground where streets were, rusted signs and a cemetery
Yes. First time I used it on my car. I had the RC Pro controller in the car (driving with one hand all the time) and changed the mode once (but cut that part from the video). Surprised that the controller worked perfectly inside the car

A relatively short distance between the Controller in the car and the drone, so no real transmission worries.

Not the distance but the fact it's largely surrounded by metal, like a Faraday screen. But then it's a powerful controller
The trick is, to leave the windows open to let the radio waves out
Sad to see the relic of what was a flourishing town. Seems to have suffered the fate of many old towns founded on the gold rush. Nice to see Active Tracking working so well.

Do you have to do that to use a mobile phone in your car?
Of course not, the windows are transparent to radio waves as well as visible light.
There's no "trick" needed.

Hope you are having a great weekend.
Thank you. One of the towns was a less-bad story. They physically moved the houses and built a new town about 50 kilometers away.
Yes, pleased with the tracking. First time I tracked my car

You need a Sense-of-Humour transplant, sonny.
Get a life.

My pleasure ReproRetro.
Yeah, the active tracking seemed to work extremely well in the video.
