It does look very similar (looked it up on maps. But it's 90 miles off by car.

  No probs, I kind of figured that is what you meant.  Heading out for a dive so will do some more searching later this afternoon if somebody doesn't identify it sooner.  

St.Peter's Church, Barton upon Humber, with St.Mary's church further away towards the Humber Bridge - which was a give-away.

Well normally I'm pedantic and I'd wait till 21st of December but as there's snow (which will begone tomorrow...) and the color seems to be gone I'll take the plunge.

You're very close. Take the coordinates from the Geocache page and copy them into GoogleMaps, then go to the streetview. That accurately takes you to the "Source" of the multicache clue - the Fontaine (well or source). The gite we rented for the second week of our stay is just 150 metres from this one so I just had to bag it

Thats what I did, but I then looked for the closest cemetery. . Because your cross seemed like it should be in a cemetery.

Bingo   The clues are on the stone face of the well, and lead you to the Lavoir about  100 metres to the left of that shot, if you;re interested. You can see my log as the latest on the Geocache page, and a photo.
