We are nearing the last percentage of my 4th battery that was used on the morning of 30-10-2022.
Still close to the Eendracht (you can see it next to the canal) but this time I wanted to add more of the neighborhood that it belongs to.

I like this shot.  Have you walked most of the canal?

Ps.  I saw this pedestrian traffic light and thought of you.  Never seen one like this before.

No. I have not walked any part of the Canal. That is not allowed on most of the Canal. Only where they have a bicycle path.
The watchpathways they have on the 'other side' are nogo.

Oh that is interesting.
It reminds me of a system they have in Sweden with just one light.
If it is lighting solid, you should not pass.

Here you can see a silver pole on each side of the tracks with one lamp.

Curious.  Here most canals have a tow path that you can walk freely.

There used to be towpaths, but most parts were converted into that road you see.
Some parts of the canal are accessible for walking, but only short stretches (mainly where the locks are, or inside the villages it crosses)
Also there are some parts with a bicycle road on the 'other' side (opposite of the road).
But a lot of the 'other' side is for the water management organization only  (not sure how to call this) and not open for the public.

But there is no walkpath.
And I agree, I love biking there.

This is Sweden.
Most of their roads are dirt roads.
Used by all sorts of vehicles, but not very often.
So too much cost to add a proper level crossing.  
But too 'dangerous' to do nothing.
I have only seen them in recent years btw. (like 2005 and later)

Lol.  I walked a stretch of canal a few weeks back where there was a roach competition.   It was a nightmare if poles everywhere.

My X used to have to go there for work about 20 years ago and she described the place like a 3rd world country.    Airports with no lounges just stand in the snow outside.    It has put me off visiting tbh.

I think I have captured most of the interesting stuff around me, but there is still a few locations I want to capture.

It can feel less developed from time to time, but for me in a good way.
But it will depend on what you think you need of course.
And it won't be for everybody.
For us it is quite good.
Enough to enjoy and not too much to get overwhelmed.

They have parts where nightfishing is allowed.
That is almost a campsite sometimes.

I'm always up early but I don't seem to get the amazing sunrises that some places get.  I do see lots and lots of contrails in the sky.  Seem I'm directly in a flight path between Miami and other airports up the east coast of the US.

I think that is why it is not in stock.
It was € 200,- cheaper then elsewhere. So they found out they messed up.
That is my assumption.
I could not wait for it. Blablabla.
But ok. I will start looking for my next victim.
