Steady rain here this morning. No hope of flying - and the 10-day forecast isn't encouraging

I had the Action 3 underwater in the hrabour yesterday, hoping to see a fishy or two. Got one but overall the water was still mui murky.In case you were wondering that is an N tire fish that has had its chips

Well that's Cycle of life for you    It does look pretty murky in that shot.

Impressive shot Droffarc.    Hopefully those clouds weren't building into some bad weather.

I wanted to do a lake dive yesterday but a thunderstorm blew in and I didn't want to chance it having any lightning with it so I sat under the porch at the bait shop and just watched it rain.  After a while I got bored with that so headed home.  Oh well, save the air and make bubbles another day.

My method was not good iether, all I did was tie the cam with some fishing line and lowered into the water off the peir. The surge played havoc with control - the lense kept being swirled round and round and I could not point at anything.

Sounds like you need one of those extendable wands, if they make one for the OA3.

I have the dji selfie stick and another shorter one but am a bit loath to put it in the briny - corrasion is not wanted.
Jointly that will give me about 2 meters (6ft). Unless of course I want to get wet

Yeah, salt water can be very corrosive.  Might be time to just get in the water and give it a real test.

It sure does.    We need to start taking better care of our oceans.   You would not believe the amount of junk I find when I go out diving.
