Is it possible to charge the battery with a power bank during the flight?

The battery on the drone.  

For example, I take a power bank and fix it on the drone.

I think that the battery temperature is getting too hot.

Aside from anything else would the mini 3 be able to lift a power pack and presumably its normal battery, even if so would it burn out the ESCs?

Since you are German, what would the added weight do to your legal flight restrictions?

Legalities aside, its a big no, it will drain far quicker than you can put in, heck, there may even be safety protocols prevent charging when in use.

If the drone does not weigh more than 800g. Everything remains normal. A1 license, insurance, etc.... That was purely a question of interest... I wouldn't test it.

Hi, Andy. Thank you for getting back to us. For safety purposes, we don't recommend putting any payload on Mini 3 Pro. Thank you for your kind understanding and valued support.

If the USB port is detected to be in use the drone will not take off and will prompt that message on your controller.  

For all practical purposes - no.

Given that I am deaf and the lack of subtitles, I didn't bother watching them, so I have no idea what information the following contain but they are the only "much weight can a mini 3 carry " videos I have found so far.
