At https://www.facebook.com/groups/djiavatadjifpvdroneownersnetwork/ , Ivan Vela Moreno just received and has a post regarding them. I ordered the foam one at roughly the same time and should have it in the next day or two. Ivan did mention that the foam one is held onto the goggles with velcro.

Does the foam help?

i read that putting the goggles further away is not an option for everyone due to getting blurry edges and seeing the edge of the optics

I thought, just for 23euro, ill take the rist, I personally would say that keeping it away just a LITTLE bit, improves the blurry edges, especially on the cheekbones

I received them, and immediatly, it just feels nice, also pinch on nose is alot less. what would eliminate the pinch completely is a mod so you have a headband OVER your head, like with a VR headset (Valve Index).
But overall, it feels nicer, im not sure, but I feel it makes it a few mm more away from your face, which goves more nose clearance, but this also introduces the rounded edges abit of the screen, but this is only when you start looking at the edges, I think it did it before also, but now I was looking for things that would annoy me.

All I can say is, im happy! And will keep it on!

Update: So yeah, I can confirm that it puts the goggles a little further from the face, which gives better nose clearance and yes, it will cut the bottom corners a but more if you look at them. I dont think this will annoy me when flying, but I rather have the comfort. I switched quickly to test it, but it immediatly pinches my nose, the foam is just sooo much better overall!

I have both models coming, I know will be better than the poor designed OEM foam but I also know it will not solve the overall  poor DJI design

I also have the foam one comming!!

Fitment of the original is not that bad for me (happe me) but let's see what the foam one does for me
I do agree with others: poor design by DJI (but for me it's not that bad)
