Blyth 214..........

A new boat has turned up the boat yard and appears to be doing short shake down trips around the creek,   as it looks so new I was interested to see if its AIS database entry included a photo,  and it didnt so I was able to grab a shot and upload it,  they tend to always show the first shot by default which is why I like to add them when I can.

Sadly after checking out the boat its only named on the stern.

Great shots DA.    I really like the hull design.  I'm seeing lots of topside electronics.  The "survey" label adds a bit of intrigue to what it's real purpose will be.  As in shallow water survey, deep water surveys, underwater cable surveys, etc.

The boat yard here seems to specialise in working on that hill design.

Just walking alone the creek.  Lovely high high tide but no boat action yet.

It was out in the middle of the channel with no signs of life,  I did grab a shot of course.

I'd think that right in the middle of the channel would be an odd place to fish but then again I have no fishing knowledge of the Thames.

He seemed to have his anchor down,   but was only a couple of hundred meters from a buoy he could have used thats in a better location.    I did post a pic earlier.

I did see the shot.  I'm sure he must have broke down and had to anchor, especially if he couldn't have gone another couple of hundred meters to tie off to a buoy out of the middle of the channel.  Hope he gets it towed and repaired soon.

Well Blyth 214 headed out today,   Im tracking via AIS.  I was digging to see when she was built and I found a Facebook post from today with the local company handing her over to the new crew and they set sail for Belfast,  so it was built locally and by the same people that built Emmz by the looks of it.   Funny thing was they included my shot from above as one of the pictures.
