When boat chase photos go wrong......

Not one of my best for sure,  but seems a common issue with the rotated camera and -90 degrees.

Ive never had that on the Mini2 as the camera doesn't do portrait orientation.

Yes. That is also a contributing factor I guess.

Interesting shot DA.  Appears at -90 and the drone's speed could be the causal effect at the bottom of the shot or could have just been a fluke.  I'm sure you'll work out the cause, whatever it is.

I’ve had it a few times now.   Wind can also cause it but it tends to settle after a moment. I just caught this one wrong.  

Not bad, the fade out seems fitting.

That fade is the bottom of the drone.

I suspect more of a law of physics issue,  the drone is needing to go to extreme attitudes so you can see the bottom of the drone.

Yes we are,   I had it a few times now,   it does settle but I just caught the shot wrong.
