I am an Iphone guy all the way and have many knocking about the house. I would like to try the FCC hack on the Mini 2 but I dont think this works on IOS. I therefore need to buy a second hand Android Phone. I dont need the latest one so was wondering which one people would buy as a reasonable one that works well with the DJI Fly App.

Not sure if you have access to this website but if so you could pick up a good used Samsung Galaxy Note 9 for $100 US.

The Samsung Galaxy A12 is a nice little phone, works well with the App it's what I'm using.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 or S9 will do the job. Later models have Android 11 or 12 which won't run DJI Go4 or DJIfly. Android 10 or earlier are OK.

I have a redmi note 10 5g which was £120.  Also works on my Samsung note 10+ soon to be s22 ultra

So are you saying the  Samsung Galaxy 12 won’t run DJI fly app

Isn’t the S7 micro usb. I thought you had to have USB C for the hack to work

Well now I am embroiled in the world of Android........... Head spinning and confused. When I was a boy some things in life were simple
I am wondering if this whole FCC hack is worth it. I was only going to give it a try

There have been a number of posts to that effect. Android 12 and DJI Apps are/were not compatible. Not sure DJI have fixed the problem yet.
