I was invited to a charity golf day on Tuesday.
Having never played golf  before I decided to avoid humiliating myself by sticking to photography  - something I'm comfortable with
Here are a few stills.
Videos to follow later

Thank you. Just the colour. I tweaked them With Luminar 4.
And they are actually captures from a video, rather than stills I use VCR (free video app) for the captures

Rather them than me. Amazed that no one walked. Everyone used an electric cart.
I thought they were meant to be out there exercising

Yeah, all those caddy-carts do rather seem to defeat the object
I found this article on the subect:

The quote, “Golf is a good walk Spoiled” was thought to be from Mark Twain but it actually came from a book published in 1905 by Leon Wilson. Just the same golf is a walk by all standards and a long one at that, most amateur golfers walk 5-6 miles in an average round of golf.

It's the same with e-Scooters, there is no exercise. At least with an e-Bike the option to pedal

I'm tempted to get an e-bike, as a matter of fact. As opposed to no bike, since my twenties

I have a Trek alloy road bike I haven't used in years and I'm intending to convert it. I bought all the parts. It uses a Bafung motor which powers the pedals directly instead of the wheels, so you still have all the gears.
Simplest and cheapest conversion is to buy a powered front wheel. You simply swap it with the front wheel (plus add batteries of course and cut-out brake pedals etc). But front wheel drive has problems up steep hills, and hart to turn the wheel at speed. Also, it has no gears.
Middle conversion is a powered rear wheel. Better traction, but no geats.
And finally the Bafung style. It's by far the most expensive, but you retain the original wheels and gears.

You've gone into that quite intensively.
I've researched the folding type which will fit nicely in the loadspace of my car. So I park up and reach places where the car would be impractical. They're about £950 sterling. Enough range for my needs.

Sounds good. they are available in Australia for much less.
I paid around that for my conversion kit. I bought it straight from China and the batteries are genuine Samsung, so they will last. I went a bit overboard with the motor. It's 1Kw

That should be enough.  There are far cheaper models in the folding range, but like you, I want something robust and dependable.

Don't know if you watched the video, but it looks inherently unstable, even in those ideal conditions. On the open road in windy conditions it wouldn't last five minutes before getting blown over. And othe traffic can't see the rider and his hand signals. Terrible design.

My pleasure RR.

Those are some great stills to be pulled from a video.  I'll have to check out the VCR App.

I had a cinewhoop for a while but I was never able to overcome the disorientation or motion sickness it caused when flying.  I even tried flying  it while sitting down with no better results.

Hopefully, you will not have the same results.
