Saw this done over on instagram and thought Id give it a test.

Do you refer to the vertical panorama's where you have to take multiple captures and move the camera between every capture so you get this shift in perspective?

No this was just two shot and its supposed to looked folded.

That is a simplified version of what this style is.
I can't find the 'how to' video anymore, but these are merged images where you point the camera upwards between multiple shots AND move the camera forward.
They you blend them in post (so without the hard line)

Very creative shot DA.    I like the folded line effect.  

You mean a fold in the perspective. I think I mostly saw it the other way around. Here I think the difference in the perspective isn't big enough.

Wow, those are really cool examples of the effect.  Was looking at the how to create and that in itself is quite the detailed process.  I'm thinking that is beyond my capability at this point.

I think itsa going to take some careful planning to try the full inception style image,  thats not a turn up and doit sort of capture.

I agree wholeheartedly with you on the complexity of doing a full inception style image.

Yes,  going to take some practice.  In the mean time I have an old vs new shot planned after I leave the MIL.
