You can't miss the shorts trend if you are a serious YTber.....
At least, that is what the YT mail bombardments is trying to make you believe.
I do feel they have their place, but I'm struggling in finding the right subjects to cover.
A lot of my stuff simply does not work well in this format.

PS, nice work, I think you did find a way to make a good serious shorts!

Yes, 110%.  I spend a fraction of the time on "SHORTS" and the views are significantly higher.  Figured...may as well save myself the headache of making longer content if YouTube's not pushing it anyway.  

Still figuring it out myself....lots of trial and error but SHORTS are def. being pushed!  I posted a SHORT last night and had over 150 views in first 2 minutes.  Went out to walk the dog came back and was like...WHAT!  Crazy...but sometimes it seems a bit random.

It is very random.
Almost as if YT wants to push us make more.
My first shorts were like 5K in no time. Without sharing anything myself.
And now (same type of content) 100 - 200 ish.
