They have a really good system there where each boat gets a cradle on wheels and the slip has a winch system, so tractor delivered empty cage, it's lowered down into the waters. boat sails into cage, ties up and then they pull it up the slip. The tractor then takes over and moves the boat in cradle to a parking space. they can move a lot of boats in one tide from what I've seen. And of course Im not there for every tide.
That is quite the effective process. No doubt that process maximizes the amount of boats they can move each tide period. Only limiting factor would be available parking space and available cradles. |
