Could this have an interesting pass?

Spotted this whilst getting a shot of an 18th century factory and cannot help but wonder if this was significant,  maybe a WW2 era site?

No idea what it was but it is a most interesting shot DA.    I've seen several old WW2 era sites but none in the shape of this one.

Maybe,  the local bridge had holes drilled in it for explosives in case they needed to destroy it during an invasion.

Google Earth
They have a slider for dates.
Usually starting (depending on the location) around 2000

Just read the local geocache thats a real difficult one to crack,  multiple puzzles had to be disabled as it was found 10 miles away on the beach.

That's much too far for an acceptable Geocache multi.

Oh it was an excellent place,   took me 18 months to crack,   it's very hard and you cant really do it in one day as each clue takes some finding.     And then you can only retrieve the final cache at low tide and with some gumption.

One stage the clue is two pieces of string with a number of knots on them,   but of course you arrive at the location and you dont know that,   in fact I thought that stage was missing for a while.
