Small, but nice: The historic core with about 120 listed buildings is protected in its entirety by monument protection.

The town hall, the powder tower, the castle ruins and house Püllen are worth visiting.

The fauna and flora of the Wankumer heath, the rivers Niers and Nette are an added value for the area.
