I don't remember seeing any information about the two screw (?) holes on the back of the DJI RC (I'm NOT talking about the two M4 holes on the bottom) - See attached pictures.
I'm interested to know ....

Hi erezgur, I presume it’s to attach a lanyard to the RC.

Hi there. Thank you for reaching out. These two M2 holes (with a depth of 4.5mm) are used for mounting an external module to DJI RC. For details on the related accessories, please stay tuned to DJI's official website. Thank you for your valued support.

Dammnit, i ain't paying nearly £40 for one, looks like its back to Ali lol

Thanks for the teaser. Any hints what that module might be?

Damit, i think thats useless and a HDMI module would be more useful. I mean, how hard is it to actually hotspot to your phone that probably 99.9999999% have on them.

Agree to a degree, its not like you really need to be on a network anyway

I read this twice i thought it said Agree to disagree lol

No, you don't really have to be on a network when out in the field as long as you cache the maps.

Did anyone ever note that the 4G module was not for internet access, lol. It was to connect to the drone via 4G giving you virtually infinite range -limited by battery of course. Turns out 4G connectivity for drones is mostly not a thing outside of China, but they demonstrated unimaginable penetration, flying down at street level in cities among skyscrapers. FAA took one look and said NO, just... no. This is exactly what is required to have 100% full signal (or damn near it when the drone is completely obstructed from the controller.
