I have never understood this fixation that people have of wanting to fly a rotors aircraft as if it was a fix wing aircraft... None of the radio in the RC industry has this option when you select the Heli in the radio... You wouldn't be able to fly a drone by selecting either Acro or Glide...(well you could but that's not the standard setup), and that's really what you are asking DJI to do..
Not sure why DJI would be any different on this matter.. It has been the RC standard since the beginning...
I can understand why people would like the option as they have never learned to fly on an RC radio but just computer games, but that wouldn't be fair for the majority of RC flyer and professional out there that have been using this setup for years... It is not very hard to follow and for a drone you don't even need to worry about the pitch of the blades... Pull the stick =RPM goes down, Push the stick =RPM goes up
I'm not saying that DJI couldn't implement a reverse channel on their radio for the few that can't be bother to learn the standard, it is just when people try to compare their flying fix wings experience with a drone, that when the logic falls apart...
They are two completely different kind of birds! In one you control the pitch only in the other you control the pitch/RPM...
So yes, do ask for a channel reverse switch, if you wish, but stop making that silly comparison and use it as an excuse...
