Hi DJI,

Since 2022-05-11 there have not been any new firmware updates...

For a new product (new branch product for you) it is strange as other hardware vendors makes them quite frequently within the first year or so to keep users happy that things approves... Nothing is THAT finalised upon release nowadays and with the posibility to develop a hardware product through firmware updates there should be more to come.

And a good way to spread the word for those that not have bought DJI Mic yet that there is new things getting added to keep the sales figure up, right?
For sure there should be something you would update? (transmission hickups, tweaking, GUI-change or even new features like this: https://forum.dji.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=276310&page=1#pid2888362)?

So any response regarding this?

As one suggestion, I think it would be great if we had the chance to use the DJI Mic directly through it's USB-C adapter with the DJI Pocket 2 and the DIA Handle. It works okay when used by the DIA Handle's 3,5mm connection, but with that, we have more wires to try not to tangle us with, and it also gives no direct possibility to mount the receiver to the Pocket 2 in a compact and easy way. The USB-C connection option would help both with the sound input/connection options and attaching the receiver to the Pocket 2. Not sure though if it could be helped with just the DJI Mic firmware update or if that would also require some firmware tweaking on the Pocket 2 side of things.

What will you release soon?

Okay, so finally a firmware update released.

But should not the users get more add-on features or more fixed issues after being waiting for 8 months?

What’s new?
Added auto power off feature for receiver. The receiver will power off automatically if disconnected from transmitter for more than 30 minutes.
Added LED off option for transmitter. Go to TX Settings > LED Brightness > Off to turn off the transmitter LED and reduce the light affect during recording.
Fixed issue: transmitter audio data was occasionally lost when recording for a long time.

Will the firmware updates show up more frequently in the future or will it take another 8 months for the next to arrive?

The system for sure is capable to get more features.

Any comment from you, DJI, about why you did not make a Lighting connector that gives 2-channel recordings (mic 1 = left channel, mic 2 = right channel) directly into the iPhone like the USB-C connect can deliver?
