Thanks for your response. Please note that for different resolutions and frame rates, only certain EIS modes can be selected. Keeping RockSteady provides more options for users. To ensure that the limited computing power can be used for image decoding, the DJI Osmo Action series devices will limit the EIS function (i.e which cannot be enabled or only RockSteady can be enabled).
Apart from the above reasons, the inability to enable the EIS function in non-video mode is also attributed to the following factors:
1. In Slow Motion mode, a video is recorded with a high frame rate but displayed with a low frame rate. As such, when the final video is played, slow playing will enrich the details and smoothen the connection of each frame. The video shaking due to handheld inability will become less significant. As such, no additional electronic stabilization is required.
2. In Timelapse mode, the device is placed in a static status and does not involve motion video. As such, no additional electronic stabilization is required.
3. In Hyperlapse mode, the EIS function is enabled by default, and the EIS function setting is not required.
We appreciate your understanding and support. Have a nice day. |
