You're absolutely right about 2s not cutting it for light trails.

I can see why it is that quick mind, slight wind and the shot is fubar, 1st image was 2s and you can clearly see that its naff, the second image was only 1s and caught the 2 fighter jets, still not great mind there is still some blur, but the 3rd is again 1s but quite crisp. Its cropped some just to show on here, oh and some noise removed. They will end up in the bin soon
