Hello, I have a question related to the microphone.  before I buy a wireless one in the future, I need a microphone for a motorcycle helmet.  How to shorten the cable in such as in the picture?  you need a maximum of 50 cm and there are 3 meters?  Cut and solder?  How do you solve this problem?  Thank you in advance for your help.[Image]

stay tune I'll demo on a  cable for you.

cut it and repair (trs mic without chip)
the wires are very thin, take a small gas soldering iron, shortening is no problem

have to be careful like said, some are stupid thin and that is not the best mic if asked

It is probably best to get a usb-c adapter and use any TRS mic.

Use k4 but it sucks. Need to fixade it, any movement give scratching, so it's fixedaded, and it gives a cracking like 1-3 times pr minute. Kind of sucks. and it's brand new. But do a great job cornekting.
So, we need a better produkt. Boya is pure shyt in all they do. Saramonic usb c looks the same. properly same. But they have an usb lav. Do it work, or do we waist money on cracking ? lol
We want crisp audio, not cracking. Wind interferens.
Do wish dji would give us the best options to buy.

I have ordered lavalier wireless mic from ali.. I have found video on Youtube with guy trying it and it works great... waiting for delivery and will let you know

let me know, brand and test in wind, silence/ any cracking-white sound. Do want better then boya k4 shyt

DJI wireless $300 plus   system will they do  a lav mic.

Hey there. Im always looking for good audio, fishing, wind issues. So main resson i did go oa3 was usb mic and battery option. Sad to find out, the Boya k4 trs sucks big time, it works, but need the gb turn down ¨-15db or it is to sensitive. So i did go back to trrs adabtor, and trrs mic. It's not perfekt. But do it ok, in wind. So i use apple usb c and ulanzi trrs lav mic.

well not all cameras work perfect, or mics, I have another brand and I must lower the Db of the camera along with the mic  the key here is, you must have a  METER t see not sone stupid mic icon that leads to a request.      the trick in getting perfect audio is....

SnallRig wave w1-c and Ulanzi J12

Ulanzi receiver on the smartphone and SmallRig on the Osmo Action 3, both systems do not interfere with each other (or vice versa )
