I experienced the same issue like you in low light conditions. Thanks for sharing the video.

If we record at 60fps instead of 30 or 25 in low light, the footage looks much sharper because we are helping the EIS by higher FPS = faster shutter speeds = better EIS & darker footage.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind having darker footage (as it's dark when we are creating these shots). But I DO mind storing 2x larger files just because someone was incapable of adding a setting which can limit the shutter speed to limit where EIS needs (=prioritize EIS in low light, a feature of Action3).

Hi! I have notice some similar scenarios that it may be produced by the gyro sensibility. Try enabling low pass filter on gyroflow to see if it improves.

Have been in the FPV business for private customers for a while and bought the Action 2 because it is lighter and also better than my GoPro. Would benefit greatly from the beta firmware. I will of course share the results with and without beta here for development.

latest firmware doesn't work so well with gyroflow. On the sides you can see jello (0:04 on the building on the left). There is no jello in the original video (before stabilization). I've tried different settings but they're all the same. There is no jello in gopro :/

Hey thxs for replying to my post. I went ahead and enabled the low pass filter. You would not believe on how much filtering I had to add just to get it similar to original. I stopped at 500Hz with no improvement after that. I am thinking this action 2 is limited to being stable enough due to the fact it's gyro requires more damping and or the gyro data just needs to be cooked more.
Anyhow, thanks again for replying. See vid below.


After reviewing several, several more times, I do see some improvement with filtering enabled.

Thank you for the beta firmware. I was testing 01.04.04.20 and it is working quite good. I noticed two problems:

- I can't get Horizon Leveling to work. Constantly shifted by a changing value. Especially with straight recorded videos you can see the twisting with activated Horizon Leveling very well. If it helps I am happy to share my raw video data.
- Since I installed the beta version, when I access the Mimo app, I can no longer see photos I took with the camera. However, I can see them on the SD card and in the camera preview. They are just missing in the app.
