I read on our civilian aviation pages few opposing sentences. One that states it will be A1 and one that stated that all old drones 900g up to 4kg without C mark will be flown as A3. But I have sent email to the office so they clarify these statements.
Without C mark
Until January 1, 2024:
A1 -> MTOM <500g
A2 -> MTOM <2kg
A3 -> MTOM <25kg
After January 1, 20024
A1 -> MTOM <250g | SPEED <19m/s
A2 -> Not possible
A3 -> MTOM <25kg
With C mark
A1 -> C0 MTOM <250g | SPEED <19m/s
C1 MTOM <900g | SPEED <19m/s
A2 -> C2 | MTOM <4kg | SPEED (3m/s)
A3 -> C0, C1, C2, C3, C4 | MTOM <25kg
Mavic 2 MTOM, Pro: 907g, Zoom: 905g Source DJI website. By the way I just weighed an M2Z it is also 907g.
If it obtains a C classification it will potentially be C2. So A2 and A3 possible.
If it does not obtain a classification he will remain in A3, and A2 will still be possible until January 1, 2024
The extra 8 grams represent the mass of a propeller. Unless there is an exemption, which is not provided for in the law to date, we are not ready to see the M2 in A1.
