I nearly forgot about this until i read another post mentioning the RC touch-click changing sound...

When I did my last range test, i brought it back using RTH so i could put the RC down and grab a coffee,
I noticed that the beeping for the RTH notification kept changing sound, best way to explain it would be to imaging
how the beeping would sound through a duff speaker. The sound would raise and lower slightly as if the
speaker was on its way out

Having just checked now, I did record a screen video BUT, whilst my microphone recorded my voice, it did not
record the RC Android sounds, I mean, thats strange in itself to be fair, so yeah, i know, i am going to have to make a
new video of this, i wanted to put this out there as i was reminded of this and didn't want to forget again.

OK, before I actually posted this, I recreated how it sounded and whilst it is a mashup it is about 90% accurate as to
what i was hearing. Yep, i know, the recorded sound is a small section duplicated, its just to give you an idea...

That beeping is eerie!  I remember those sounds as a truck backed up over me!

Yeah its not as pronounced as I've shown in the video though, but its not far off, the video just emphasises the issue.

Sounds like the RC Sticks needs to be recalibrated. The RC N1 had the same irritating beep every time you had to calibrate the sticks.

The beeping is not an android sound,  there's a pizo buzzer in the controller.   

Ive circled it yellow incase you want to put some tape over it to make it STFU.

Yeah, that is a bit annoying, especially the way the pitch changes.

I don't remember that I had the same squeak.

Ah, ok, thanks obviously the downside to el' cheapo mic's is that they don't have very good ears lol
Thanks for the image, if it keeps doing it i may send it in as its still under warranty.

I will however be modding the N1 at some stage as that RC is out of warranty

There's a few to choose from, the sticker, super glue, screw through the shell, remove the buzzer (not keen on that one) I like the screw idea then it's adjustable.

You mean to modify the buzzer,   I thought you might have another mod in mind like the antennas.

  I bet it did.  I blew out the speakers on an old laptop of mine and that is what the sound kind of reminded me of. What a pain in the rear to replace those speakers.
