Working on learning to edit photographs, I'm colour blind and tend to shy away from art that has colour in it. Typically why as an artist I draw with charcoal; anyway back to the photo I think it looks pretty good I just think it may be a little on the dark side, though I like the look personally I'm curious to what others think! Thanks for any constructive criticism!

It does look good - nice to have the color pretty much only in the middle.

A good shot. Perhaps a shade dark, with a little too much blue saturation. The content is great though.

Thank you! I was actually going for something like that, was wanting to highlight the colours without muting the others. Really wanted them to pop..

I think it looks stylish, like a screenshot from some art film. The color choice works fine, I think. Well done especially considering your colorblindness, I would say. :-)

I like the selective colour,  but I would have straightened the shot slightly.

Yeah after I’d rendered it out and saved  it for posting and looking at it more I’d come to a similar conclusion. I still like it but it could use a little more separation. But I’m pleased with the overall tone; thank you for your input I appreciate it!!

Thanks, could you elaborate more on what you mean? Do you mean how it’s not directly straight on to the building or something else? Tbh I put it at the slight angle bon purpose, but I can see where some might not like that.

I mean from if the building parallel to the bottom edge of the image.   If you wanted an angle I think it would need to be a bit more acute.

Thanks I’m just having some issues following though, I think I’m misunderstanding you. I understand the parallel part; however when you say acute I’m not sure if you meant obtuse since acute is less than 90* and this is maybe 15*.

I did a very quick edit from my iPhone to show what I mean.  Feel free to play spot the difference.

Yes I noticed you made it darker and the stamp/clone tool to remove the vehicles, I see no reason for that to be like that. Though like I said I appreciate the edit.

I added a little vignette to draw focus.  Removed the cars and the stains on the roofs. And a few lights that were a little distracting.  I think it would be nice at an angle but more than the 1.2degrees this was off by.   The angle needs to look deliberate,  at least that’s what I was taught in photography.   If the horizon in a landscape is off a little it looks wrong but if it’s off a lot it’s a statement.   

Anyhow.  Welcome to the forum and I look forward to future posts.
