4K 24 fps at 1/50 sec shutter speed does not like slow mo. Thought it was my computer. Tested 720p 60 fps at 1/160 sec shutter and smooth as butter and no jerkiness with craft yawing.

Of course overall quality does not compare.

Is this a function of the fps or the camera? Would a better camera at 24 fps 1/50 do a better job? Guess I could use my GoPro 4 Silver to answer that question.

Maybe this is just me educating myself on what works and what doesn't. Others are probably already aware of this and I am just catching up.

no the 24p is the problem!

normally you need 4k 60p for smooth yaw

however you can do a almost smooth yaw if you use ONLY gimbal yaw and fly only 4 directions

you have to set gimbal speed to 20 maximum

you have to assign C1 with gimbal pitch/yaw to be able to use gimbal yaw

I dont understand what your asking here remltr.
24p is far from slow mo. I personally would only consider 120p and above to be slow.
Are you shooting 24p and then trying to slow that down latter?

Yes that is what I was doing, shooting 50 fps and viewing at half speed.  It was just an exercise, not that I was shooting with the intent of outputting as slow mo.

Maybe the "talked about" next camera will have 1080p 120 fps
