Durer 1471 to 1528. Artist.
You see Durer was never afraid of new technology.
He took to the new printmaking procedures coming along with skill and talent and a fearless enjoyment.
So, if drone technology had become available in the late 1400's, the Northern Renaissance would have flown in more ways than one.
DJI, unfortunately, did not supply any outlet in Nuremberg at that time. But that did not stop Art.
So, Art. What is it? Just check out almost any work of Durer's and see the single defining characteristic whether his paintings or prints.
The single defining aspect is that what is depicted is one thing but another thing is that as Durer has rendered it, it is far more than just a depiction.
And this "far more" is Art, there is no other word in our language to present the synergy, the more than the sum of the parts, in the graphic works.
So yes, drones are toys, so is a full palette of oil paints, a decent selection of paint brushes, and a blank canvas.
What makes either drone image or painted image "Art" is the joy of the more that we can bring to life using these toys.
Just thought I'd mention it, as you were.
