That looks like great fun. It’s a lot of snow too …… already!

I’ve never used my camera at an ISO that high, but actually, it’s surprising what it can do.

Oh that's not good, rain will make it just icy when it freezes up and dangerous for driving and walking outside

Yes true.
But we will get +8 tomorrow. So the frozen ground will be thaw soon

It's grey and wet today.
And for the rest of this week probably.

Nice job,    our snow vanished last night as we had warm rain wash it away.

Snow is fairly rare here,  and Ive never had it for Christmas.  Always before or after if we get some.

I am old enough to remember several Christmases that had good snow... But not recently.

I just look forward to the 21st Dec (The shortest day in the UK) Then on to Spring

I suppose technically 2021 was a Christmas Day with snow.

It is the same in our capital city. They used to have snow in old days but not anymore

Great low light results.    You seem to be having way too much fun plowing the snow.

After being stationed in many places where it snowed a lot I finally got smart and bought a 4 wheel drive Jeep with a plow on the front.  Just backed into the heated garage at the end of the work day and the next morning, put on my uniform, opened the garage door, lowered the plow and headed off to work.  Got to admit it did get old keeping the sidewalks clear though as the city snowplows would come down the streets and the plow angle would push it up on the edge of the yard and onto the sidewalks.  That stuff got heavy because of the salt they had put down turned it into ice.  


So when I retired from the Navy I decided to go south until I found a location that didn't get snow so that is how I ended up in the Sunshine State of Florida.

I still love seeing snow, just not having to drive in it or shovel it.
