I downloaded the new dji fly update, but I don't see OFFLINE MAP DOWNLOAD. Does this happen to anyone?

It's on the main menu - before camera view.  Check again.

Look under Profile. It's there.

Hi, danyrr. Thank you for reaching out. There is not a certain function named offline map on DJI Fly app, it only caches maps in the built-in Fly app on RC when the internet is available. You may go to Profile > Offline Maps to download maps of your planned flight destinations and have the maps displayed even when there is no network connection.

Please see this video from the time i have linked, whilst its not the correct method to save them as he didn't zoom in far enough to see the box, this is just to show you how to get to the offline maps

It only appears on the DJI RC Controller not the N1 controller.  

Can I tack a question on to this thread, Is the compass-thing / 'radar-display' meant to be available in the flight replays in flight history? I went 'looking for it' today ( for the first time ever ) and couldn't see it.

If the update doesn't appear when you check for it in settings then just download the APK from here and install it manually. That will update the app.
