Last year, I visited Uncasville located in Montville, Connecticut. Nearby  is the Tantaquidgeon Museum displays artifacts from Eastern Woodlands Native  American tribes.

Once the site of a 1600s Mohegan settlement, the Fort  Shantok Archeological District has forested trails near the Thames  River.

Uncasville  is a quiet, mostly rural area known for Mohegan Sun, with casinos, a  resort hotel, and a shopping complex, plus the Mohegan Sun Arena, host  to concerts and WNBA basketball games.

Great views. Quite distinct from the Thames in London

Yes, I agree DA' much different and the Real Thames is much more inviting and dramatic.
One of my favorite shows is "Slow Horses" and the credits has a display of the Thames perfectly.

In Slow horses the aerial footage over London where you see the round building called the Gherkin,   is not permitted.  They made that a NFZ a while ago.

That whole area should be an NFZ for recreational flights. The Gherkin must be a sensitive location.  
In last night's episode 7, they mentioned "The Glass House" is that a real location?
I'm down to my last episode of "Slow Horses" and I'm feeling sad.
This show is great, looking forward to another season.

Prez, if I could I would but I only last 15 mins in today's 50 degree weather. A cold breeze passing over the NY Hudson river made it feel more like 40 degrees. My old age told me to pack up after one quick flight of 7 minutes.

It’s been in the 30’s here for the past few weeks but that’s typical for us.
