  • Well Christmas morning and not a cloud in sight for 360°. Just a bit of contrast for the 'northerners'.

NOT: shot on the old Phantom 4 Pro. Mine has a tendency to tilt forward at full speed and hence the propellers. I suppose I could fiddle around with the gimble but for the few times I use the machine it's probably not worth it. Besides I don't mind it too much. Others have a fit

Is that common on the old Phantoms, then? I thought maybe it was a frenkendrone or even a homebuild as I thought DJI drones were built in a way that avoided this.

That said, I did wonder if this was going to be an issue with the Mini 3 Pro with its upward gimbal tilt.

a lot depends on speed, position of sun relative to the drone, angle of the gimble, whether gimble is out of alignment etc. Some have found that tilting gimble down slightly when moving flat out tends to reduce the prop flutter view.
Heaps of comments on issue throughout forum though.

Don't worry DAF barbecue was serious consideration but settled for two lamb roasts in the air fryer Besides beach gets sand ...everywhere.

Hard to reconcile midsummer with Christmas, for us, Bruce. Glad you're enjoying some nice weather. Season's greetings.

Beautiful views, Sky, you're lucky to get weather like that, send some of that warmth up here. It's been in the teens here.

well hope all you guys/guyettes enjoyed the Christmas break, have dusted off the batteries and sobered up enough to get in the air and start posting again.
Absolutely confirm that after a late start summer has arrived although to be fair it doesn't officially start until you have swallowed your first fly.
As usual bit of a story with the air fryer.
The element in the oven melted (only had the thing for 20-25 years so should complain to the manufacturer) so was using the air fryer for a few months before getting around to fitting a replacement. Oven was OK but had to trim a bit off the bench to fitthe top. Still using the AF as I don't want to dirty the new oven
