There will be a new car someday for SWMBO. But she drives 5km per week on average, so I'm not sure if that will happen soon.

Yeah, we thought about it, she mainly uses my car. But when I need that, she will drive like 20km or so. That is too far for a bike.
Renting was also an option, but the car is written off, so we have little cost. And selling it is not very rewarding these days.

Financially.
Not worth much anymore.
So selling it, is not very smart. As anything we buy to replace it, will cost a lot more.

Oh I see,  perhaps a trade in would be better.    They do deals here from time to time where they give you good money as long as it drives onto the forecourt.
