Just curious, what is "10s" refers to? Is that shutter? Cuz you can't have a 10s shutter for an 8 second interval. Did you mean "minutes"?

I had it on 10 seconds shutterspeed and 8 seconds between every image.

Are you sure? For a 10 second shutter, the minimum interval is 13s. I'm just lookin at that on the camera. It doesn't give you a shutter speed that is longer than the interval. (At least not on my Action 3.)
