Sadly due to the flood warning they closed the flood barriers and the poor rowers had to turn around.    Props to them though,  it was cold with a feels like temp of 0c and they all had their Christmas antlers on.

thanks DT.   Watching them do a U turn was fun.....   There was a slight delay while they processed the cast the barrier was closed.     But they did a grand job of turning around.

Yeah that is a bit of a tight area to quickly turn around a row boat in.

Looks like that access road is a bit blocked with cars facing in both directions and covering the road for the most part from side to side.

The first car on the left was driving up the road,  the rest were parked,.  the car owners all live on the boats there.
