Hey all, I finally got my new, (used), A2s out to register it to my account. I can't get the controller and the drone to connect.? I'm using the dji fly app, the 9nly aircraft I'm offered are the mini 2 and the Mavic air 2, but not the air 2s. What's my next move?

Is Fly up to date? Use Assistant 2 Consumer to update the drone. Then follow the directions in the Air 2S manual.

Precisely what are you doing to connect the drone and controller?
What controller?
Remove the memory card from the drone.

On and off, they're searching for each other in pair mode but not connecting.

Which controller, the RC231. Initially it wasn't in and the display told me it wasn't in, but still wouldn't connect.

Please try to download the DJI Assistant 2 software on your computer and please update/refresh the firmware of both aircraft and RC then connect and link them again to see if the issue persists. You may refer to the tutorial video below (starting at 2:20) for your reference on how to properly link the aircraft to the RC. Please keep us posted. Thank you.

I downloaded assitant 2 consumer, updated the remote and the drone... We're flying now! This a lot more drone than my mini. I'd never seen one 8n real life before so it's an impressive update, and then the software tech included, it may be ancient by some standards, but it's all new to me.

It's up now! And the controller may actually be known as the RC-1, not what I said previously. (But that's what it says on the back)

would it be RC-N1 rather than RC-1?
What was the cause of the problem?

Yes it would. I kept thinking there should be an N in there somewhere, but all I could come up with is RNC and I was pretty sure that wasn't right.

I don't know what the cause was, but once updated it worked as you would expect. Now I need to link it to my account and I'll be all set.
