A couple of days ago when opening the Fly app I had a prompt pop up to say that a new version of firmware for the RC N1 had been downloaded.

I didn't install as I wasn't connected to the controller at the time, but the prompt hasn't resorted since and I haven't seen any mention of the update in the forum.

A couple of weeks ago I had an aircraft and controller firmware prompt when I was doing my pre-flight checks at home. I accepted that prompt and installed.

Could it be that I only actually installed the aircraft firmware update previously and this is the corresponding controller update, or is this another controller update just a couple of weeks later?

(I can't check my current controller firmware version right now, but will post what it is a bit later hopefully).

On the 29th, an update was released for RC only (v04.11.0200) Optimized user experience and overall improved software stability.
Unfortunately it didn't solve my connection loss problem!

Just checked and I'm on 04.11.0100 currently.

And the update prompt had just popped up again.

So you had your problem with losing connection BEFORE you upgraded to 04.11.0200? i.e. the problem was not introduced with the 0200 update?

it might be a familiarity, but my problems started after the DJI FLY 1.9.0 app update.
after that I already had an update of the aircraft and two updates of the RC, I'm afraid that my problem is hardware!

Thankfully I've had no problems with 1.9.0... I updated just before flying over a river so got off lucky, I think! (I usually test new aircraft firmware in a safe area first).

Am holding off on the RC update at the moment just in case problems surface.

rc says firmware update required..
will not download from the android.
dji assistant says no firmward required..
unable to activate unit..

any thought about this? why i dont gent any update from dji assistant 2 with my RC-N1

Try updating with the DJI Fly app, turn on only the remote (keep drone turned off) and see if an update pops up. If not, connect your drone as well, and search for update.

If the controller is working properly there is no need to really update.

Can you please try to uninstall and reinstall the DJI Assistant 2 software on your computer then try to connect again your DJI RC-N1 to see if the issue persists? In addition, may I ask what specific issue are you experiencing right now with your remote controller or aircraft? Please keep us posted. Thank you.
