Can anyone explain to me, if you can tether your mini 3 to a hotspot ie a moblie phone for maps, why is it that as soon as you engage take off, wifi and bluetooth are disabled. Yes you can manually reconnect the services, but why have this feature?

Hi there. Thank you for bringing this query to us. You may run the DJI Fly app without turning on the Bluetooth as this only requires when you perform the QuickTransfer (available in selected aircraft versions) feature on the DJI Fly app. Also turning on Wi-Fi or an internet connection is only recommended if you perform a firmware update. Lastly, we highly recommended to turn off Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on your mobile device to improve signal reception. Hope this helps. Thank you for your valued support.

You can now download the maps under Profile -> Off Line Maps.    Saves the hassle of constantly re enabling Wifi.
