A beautiful morning for the first drone excursion of 2023.
Testing the Panorama feature of the Mini3Pro, with all the latest updates.
Still some imperfections in the stitching - despite it being a dry and still day.

Well Blériot these are also turning out rather well.
I haven't jumped to the 3 yet but I noticed the other day that a couple of the P4 battery cases have a few cracks in them. I'll tell the Treasurer that spare batteries aren't readily available. Mind you I could always tell her that the M2P has shrunk.

Nothing that I immediately notice. Nice!

Thanks Bruce. It turned to rain soon after that shot was taken. So the timing was lucky.
Sorry to learn about the P4 batteries. At least you've had some good service from the machine.
The P4 was my first drone - almost 6 years ago now. I remember it fondly.
I think you have a strong case to present to the Treasurer, given the circumstances

The stitching errors aren't too apparent on Skypixel, thank goodness, where the ability to zoom in is limited.  But the original image shows a couple of mis-matches on the railway line over the viaduct, when zooming in fully.

It's definitely a Stay-at-Home day here. The weather is miserable, AND there's a train strike as well. So the roads will be extra-busy.

Well, the buses are still running, but as stated, we're staying indoors today.
We rarely use the train anyway.

Hi David.  It doesn't show up on Skypixel's limited zoom. But on the original, when I zoom to the viaduct there's a couple of bad mis-matches on the rail lines.

Oh yes,  I can see that now you point it out.   Not really a huge issue that one though,   You could even fix it in photoshop with the nudge tool.

If I had Photoshop
What I omitted to do, when I updated the drone before Christmas, was to set recording to JRAW again.
So I haven't got the DNG files to play with. I must remember to reset that before I fly again.
Won't be today as the weather is miserable.

Out this morning for sunrise and it was quite nice,    but rain and wind now forecast again,  We had a lot of rain over night too.  
I also forget to change that setting too and you have to be in flight to get to it.

I had no idea the drones could make these.

Indeed that does happen.  It always makes me wonder how much beta testing is done before the FW or SW is released.

They're never forthcoming with too much detail.

Looks pretty cool .. holds detail really well.. debating on getting a mini 3 just need to pay off the avata lol

It does seem to be a pattern for software developers as I've seen something similar on several Android App updates (Bug fix, Optimize App).  They treat it like it is a insider secret that is forbidden to be shared with users.
