Can anyone recommend a sunshade for the RC-N1 controller, please?
Or which ones to avoid?

Ideally, something that works, is easy to setup and folds flat when being stored. Easy to take the phone in and out when the shade is in place.
I intend to buy it from Amazon UK or eBay. The phone is a Samsung Galaxy S21 if that makes any difference.

The best sunshade is prob the rc pro with 1000 nits brightness ;-)

Just try to stay away from any that use magnets as this could and probably will affect the compass in your phone/tablet not to mention that if you turn the drone on with the controller in hand could be enough to affect the drone's compass too.
