Well, you know what they say. To reliably backup your data, you need at least 2 drives. If you just backup to a single drive and it fails (cuz eventually everything mechanical is prone to failure, even SSDs, sooner or later), then you lost everything, With 2 drives, at least you still have your stuff on the other drive. Unless Murphy will make both drives fail at the same time… bummer
