very bad luck while filming today:





i crash my Mini 3 Pro today on top of that under construction skyscraper.

Long walk up bud, looks like it ended up on the stop stair section. I take it ya didn't take that higher part into account, hope there wasn't too much damage?

The workers there still searching for my drone.. they not allowed me to enter the construction side because its too dangerous.

Unfortunately pilot error I think, did you notice the cables or wires that the drone flew past at the start of the video?

That's sad to see Matthias.  Hope the construction worker can find your drone and the damages are only minimal.  I did notice some cables in the first part of the video and thought that was what you had collided with but later it shows crashing into the building.  

Too bad. I nearly crashed into one. I couldn't see where it was, and the roof of a hotel suddenly appeared underneath.

Just gonna say - that music is just terrible !  ;-)

Hard to say for sure, but you may well be right.

I do not quite understand why the film from the microsd card is present when the drone should be gone ???

Might it be a cached video from the screen device?

Perhaps you could point me to the correct page in the manual? etc. to find out because I can find no mention of a restriction placed on recording cache video depending on video resolution. I found several references to video resolution interfering with other things.

What he is saying is that the cached video is not transmitted back from the aircraft to the controller in 4K. The only place to get a 4K version is from the SD card in the aircraft.

Yes indeed my friend: when I see this cables passing by I thought by myself to stop the movement because something is wrong. but then the crash already happen.

Yes, the aircraft always sends a lower resolution stream back to the RC. The feed is primarily used for framing, so it does not need to be in 4k. A lower reolution back-feed also is easier to manage in terms of processing at the RC unit and makes for a lower bandwidth transmission path.

When i view it in 4k and switch to 1080, there is no difference for me like there normally is, which leads me to believe that its been upscaled to 4k, perhaps?

Hopefully, they are truthful, but there is always knockoff time so you can look for yourself, do you know if you was actually above the building for sure? if so then i would say deffo in the staircase section, if not then it could well the other section... good luck!

Damage is not so bad at all.



so iwas able to repair it myself. First test flight tomorrow.

Congratulations.
JUST IN CASE.....Replace BOTH blades on the affected motor NOT JUST the damaged blade, they are probably weight matched for centrifugal balance. Thoroughly check the other blades for cracks including giving them a slight twist
