My Tx has been returned from DJI's repair facility.  I was sent a replacement Tx.
I find that the Map in the Go4 app is blank.
I have read this can happen after a firmware update and an updated Go4 app should be installed to fix it.
Presently the Tx has dji.go.v4.3.42 installed on it.
I have tried to install dji.go.v4.3.54-3036655 however it always fails.
Any help in fixing the Maps would be appreciated.

How does one take a screenshot from the android display?
(sorry to have to ask but I am an Apple guy)
Figured it out
But when I swipe down to show the screen capture icon the error message disappears.
However, is typed out the exact words in the error box.

It looks to me like the package you sent a link to wants to update the android display firmware.  
My problem is NOT with the android display.
The problem is in the Go4 app the map which is in the lower left corner is a white box.
There is NO map info in the white box.

The transmitter firmware is typically a xxxxxx.bin file
The Go4 app is typically a xxxxx.apk file

I re-downloaded the update.zip file to a newly formatted MicroSD card.
I reset the remote controller.
Installed the microSD and powered up the Tx.
Got the UPDATE prompt, selected YES and the screen rebooted and started the update.
After the android bot disappeared the DJI GO4 app opening screen appeared with Resource data initiating line that would load to 9% and the screen brightness would flash and the loading would start again. This would continue to repeat.
I reinitiated the update.zip another two times with the same result.
Now the controller is completely useless.
I will contact the repair depot that sent me the controller to see if they have a repair suggestion.

You may try the
(1) Check whether there is a usbser.sys file under C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers. If not, please download and put the file under this catalog.
(2) Check whether there is a file folder named mdmcpq.inf_amd64_neutral_fbc4a14a6a13d0c8 under C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\. If not, please create this file folder using administrator permissions. Then, put the usbser.sys file under the catalog. Then, retry again.
(3) Please use another computer or operation system and try again.
If there is no “usbser.sys” file, please click the link below to download and decompress. (The files for WIN8 and WIN7 are the same.)

Currently, only the standard remote controller of Phantom 4 Pro 2.0 (GL300L) supports firmware updates via DJI Assistant 2, the other remote controllers don't support it. May we know if the computer can recognize your remote controller?

Sorry, Wanda, none of my computers will recognize the Phantom 4 Pro controller.  I have tried a win7, win10, and Mac computers. None of them work.

I have the same problem.

Originally it did not connect to wifi, solved after reinstalling the firmware.

Then I had no map, it was black, resolved with a mobile data network.

Then my map was blank, I tried to reinstall the dji apk following the steps on the forum and nothing.

Finally DJI Toni sent me 2 links to download FW, the first one didn't work and the second one installed a FW version that left my RC useless.

After installing the DJI Toni FW, when starting the DJI GO 4 it enters a 10% loop on the initial screen "RESOURCE DATA INITIALIZING..."

Hi, there. Thanks for your inquiry.
May we know if your Mapbox cannot be used with the GL300E? If yes, please check the following details:
You may download the firmware of the remote controller with a screen (GL300E) to the microSD card and then update the firmware manually. Refer to the image below for detailed steps.
1.  Import the file “update.zip” into the microSD card. ( Path for the remote controller firmware:https://pan-sec.djicorp.com/s/cmeQ9bfpqYg5SxZ )
Note: If the upgrade fails via an SD card, please copy the update.zip file to the internal memory of the remote controller and try to upgrade again.
2.  Power off the remote controller and insert the microSD card.
3.  Power on the remote controller and tap “Install”.
Please send us a related photo or video if you still meet any problems.
