Out doing some acro practice and my Avata randomly kicked itself from Manual to Normal a couple of times. In both cases, the only control I had was throttle and yaw for roughly 5 seconds or so. So while the drone wasn't flying off at an angle like it can when it impacts the ground, it's still disconcerting to not have full control for several seconds. The only thing I can think of is that it was a little breezy (~10mph), but I wasn't getting a high wind warning. The second time, there was an "aircraft nearby" warning (I was near an airport in an unlocked GEO Zone with a LAANC approval, and max height set to 200ft), but I'd gotten the same warning before without anything happening.
Here's a clip of it happening twice, with one as I was about to dive, and one after I'd already done a dive and was making a turn into another dive.
Hi there. Thank you for reaching out and we're sorry for the trouble. It seems that you flying within a Restricted area. Please note that the DJI Avata does not support Manual mode within a Restricted Zone even after the aircraft is unlocked. Please try to fly the aircraft in different locations where it is not restricted for you to maximize the Manual mode. Thank you for your understanding and support.
