That does sound pretty good.    I guess in a couple of cycles this could be internal to the drone.

The other reason is the Mini 3 Pro being a sub 250g, in the eyes of DJI it's still MTOM, we know its not though, but seeing as that's a concern for DJI, then they will not sell it in the UK or EU for that matter, regardless of the fact that it's for other models, i reckons it will be scuppered from the get-go, unless of course, not selling the mounting holder might just be enough to say that its not for the Mini 3 Pro, any thoughts?

DJI are running out of ideas for next drones as the current ones do almost anything  a person would want. They are therefor holding back software that could easily go into existing drones to keep for newer drones to keep up sales of future drones.

You can see this because very cheap drones have all the things in them that many DJI drones don’t.

Other 3 rd party apps available for older drones also show this

Bashy does this dongle work with the Mini 3?  I thought it was mavic only.

Works with both, if ya search Ali or ebay you will see the dingle and mounting kit for the mini 3

Yeah I don't think I've seen it fitted yet, I'd prob just use some velcro anyway lol

The one I saw in Ali looked terrible with a big loop of cable hanging out the back.  They could have done better than that

This is why i would probably use just velcro lol, there is this one but either option uses a cable, suppose once its in the air it doesn't matter how it looks
Oh wait, its the same as you've already seen, oh well lol, thats the official one, so i suppose its down to cost vs aesthetics. Im glad I've seen it fitted now though as i was thinking about shoving it on top as thats where id seen it on the M3, but i think there's room on that one to keep away from the GPS lol

I think the one that looks bad to me is not the official one,   found some other pics that a shorter cable but it still looped out the back like this one

That's not too bad, not sure about the pouch though, hopefully it's tight in there...

That thought went though my mind too.

Just found this in the manual, it looks like its not limited to TDD

Something else ive come across, unless its the language barrier, it looks like you pay DJI a yearly sub for their server use and you need a sim card for the module, whether the 1st year all is included then after then you have 2 separate items to pay, any clarification?

Saw that too. Although the manual is explicitly for the Mavic 3 cellular dongle. Are we certain that they're identical? Also, if it's not limited to TDD, why do all the listings (Aliexpress and eBay) ALL say TDD only?

I would be very surprised if made 2 separate dongles, no logic or business sense in it.

As to why all the sellers say TDD, i cannot say, I'm just saying what the manual says, perhaps there's 2 versions but again, that makes no sense, or perhaps for the time being as DJI has not released it outside of China that DJI states only TDD in the sales bumf, maybe it was a way for DJI to try to stop sellers doing what they are doing. Im just guessing so your guess is as good as mine i suppose...

All I would love to have, is the same Internet access, on the newer rc and rc pro, as you got, when attaching a phone to the older controllers.Sure with an update they gave dji rc and rc pro users  the ability to download maps, but they are tiny and for people wishing to try the waypoints feature, it would be nice to be able to get live maps, just as older remotes could via the connected phone.. I have no interest in flying outside of VLOS.. I just want the maps, same as the lower end drones have and those with older remotes do. Is that really too much to ask..Either via a dongle or better still, gives us the ability to download much larger maps

I can confirm the dongle (TD-LTE) works for mobile data [just for Internet access] on the rc pro in the UK with a GiffGaff nano SIM card (which uses the O2 Network).  Not getting the greatest speeds though with it.  Note I had to enter the correct APN settings for that network. Not tried connecting directly to the mini 3 pro however, don't believe that kind of functionality is supported outside of China and without a suitable subscription from DJI but the dongle itself does work if you have that controller for your mini 3 pro or mavic 3.

You all can check this website once, this might solve this query
