Hey Guys. I just finished the last version of my HDMI adapter. In this version, I included a 1000Mah battery and it will last over 2 hours between charges. The battery is necessary to power up the converter only in case your source does not provide 5V via HDMI cable. For example, the RC pro I use in the pictures does not output 5V thru the cable and I have to turn the power on from the battery. If I hook it to my PC that is not necessary because my video card provides that 5V. In that case, the power to the adapter lasts until your goggles battery will die. I heard some of you asking about latency. There is 0 latency because the signal comes directly from the HDMI cable and there is nothing to interfere with. I use the adapter to fly my Air 2S and my Mavic 3 with this adapter and there is no latency, whatever your controller receives that you have in the goggles. That is because are no wifi connections between the goggles and the controller. My setup is with the RC pro but can be done with a DJI Smart controller or if you have a tablet with an HDMI output that will work as well. I used my PC and this adapter to play with Lifthor and DLR simulators and there is a lot of fun. As you know there is no way to use these goggles with direct digital input even though there is a USB-C input and could be released to work both ways as input and output. As far as I know, DJI only allowed it to be used as output for now. This is why I come up with this adapter. I know there are many adapters but they are bulky and require a lot of wires to be connected and are not portable and easy to set up. Mine has only one wire and an HDMI port nothing complicated. Hook the (any) HDMI source and set up the goggles to receive A/V input and there you go. Done. I have to mention because there is no way to output HD video quality via the A/V input the quality of the video or to say the image will be reduced to an SD (standard definition). The screen will be in 4.3 formats as you all know.
Please leave a comment and if you have questions I will try to answer as much as I can.
Thank you for your visit.
