Cut from a test render in three layers. Background actual footage by DJI Action 2 Under Water. Foreground two passes - a materials pass and a fast moving sunlight colour map on the model. These by RealSoft 3D.
The scene a single point perspective.
The CG camera near match for the 155 degrees FOV of the Action 2 which was shooting at 1080 x 8 times slomo.

Apologies folks, my old age gets me no points with the YTube upload path. It's scheduled to appear on the 15th - tomorrow as things stand here down under. also a second attempt might appear too, I'll delet one as soon as things become obvious, if they become obvious for me at all.

Ok, think I found the switch. It might be available now. Mistake was it listed as private until published.

Not sure what your question refers to - if the model then that's straight CGI - note my signature image of the barge type thing with flappy sails against, as it happens there, a time lapse sky and CGI motorway.

The underwater is simply head out to the coast - best low tide - and hold/drive the Action2 in the shallows of incoming waves, with the sunlight refracted on the sand.

Unfortunately the YTube conversion cuts the image extremely rough but perhaps some of the dance gets across. Working on another take now which will hopefully make the wonderland thing clearer.
